My professional journey began in early 2003, fresh out of college and eager to carve out my path. Serendipity intervened when I stumbled upon an advertisement for Jewelry design—an unconventional choice compared to the more common paths of interior or fashion design. Intrigued by the chance to stand out, I enrolled in a Jewelry designing course to delve into this intricate craft.
Driven by the desire to complement attire with captivating Jewelry pieces, I took my trainer’s advice to heart and explored a career in Jewelry manufacturing. Combining my creative design flair with technical craftsmanship, I embarked on a journey that led me to the Jewellery Product Development Center—a trailblazing institution in Asia, established in 1986 through German collaboration.
Under the mentorship of German professionals, I immersed myself in a comprehensive curriculum spanning from design conception to manufacturing execution. This immersive program nurtured an environment of boundless creativity and experimentation, allowing me to breathe life into my designs through various fabrication techniques.
Yet, amidst the excitement of creation, I felt a crucial element missing in my work: the enchanting color combinations of nature’s gemstones, each a testament to its unique beauty and rarity.
Driven by this realization, I ventured to the Gem Testing Laboratory in Jaipur—a city renowned for its rich heritage in Jewelry craftsmanship and gemstone expertise. Inspired by Jaipur’s legacy and vibrant gemstone trade, I delved into gemology studies, immersing myself in the industry while honing my skills in gem identification.
As my expertise grew, I found myself sharing my knowledge as an instructor at the Jewellery Product Development Center, guiding aspiring individuals from diverse backgrounds. Eager to broaden my horizons and gain international recognition, I pursued the Graduate Gemologist Program at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).
This decision marked a pivotal moment in my career, as I was granted the opportunity to serve as a trainer for GIA while continuing my studies. Over the next decade, I traversed the globe, teaching and learning in various cultures and gemstone-rich regions, from Sri Lanka to South Africa.
In 2017, my collaborative article on Jaipur’s gem and Jewelry industry was honored with the prestigious Gubelin Award—an affirmation of my dedication to the craft and its global significance.
Driven by an unyielding passion for creativity, my journey eventually brought me to Indonesia—a country steeped in artistic expression and cultural richness. Inspired by Indonesia’s vibrancy, I reimagined Jewelry design and manufacturing, pushing the boundaries of innovation.
Eager to share my talents with the world and uphold ethical sourcing practices, I founded Silver Inclusive—a testament to my commitment to delivering authentic, meticulously crafted works of art to discerning customers worldwide.
Thus, Silver Inclusive was born—a culmination of a lifelong dedication to craftsmanship, creativity, and ethical stewardship in the world of Jewelry design and manufacturing.
